June S. Mahoney

June S. Mahoney 91, widow of John Joseph Mahoney, Sr.. June graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1949 with a Bachelors of Art and Science degree. June was a Medical Technologist and worked at the following laboratories; Good Samaritan, Central Baptist, University of Kentucky Hospitals and the Central Internal Medicine Laboratory on Nicholasville Road. She was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary where she volunteered at the Veterans hospital with her best friend Edna Robinson. Surviving children of June and John, Sr. are Gail Christensen, Carol Page, John J. Mahoney, Jr. and Peggy Younkin. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 9:00am to 11am, Saturday, December 15, 2018. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10am at the funeral home. There will be a reception after the service from 11am to 1pm at Clark Legacy Center. June will be buried at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
