J.W. "Dub" Morris

Obituary J.W. "Dub" Morris, 91, of Lexington, widower of Evelyn Giles Harrison Morris, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. A native of Owen County, he was born March 12, 1919 to the late Shipman and Lula Morris. Mr. Morris was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and retired from Brown Williamson Tobacco Co. Mr. Morris is survived by his son, Sam (Marsha) Morris; and grandchildren, Samantha Jo Morris and William Harrison Morris. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. A Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
