Lanny W Myers

Frankfort Lanny W. Myers, 74, husband of Lillian, died Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born August 12, 1939 in Louisville, KY to the late Ralph and Mildred Myers. Lanny was a retired master electrician for over 40 years, past president of the United Auto Workers and served in the US Air Force. He was also a 53 year member of the Hiram Lodge #4, Scottish Rite, York Rite 32nd degree, and Shrine. Other survivors include: two sons, Michael (Hope) Myers of TN and Joseph Patrick Myers of Frankfort; two step daughters, Vickie (Michael) Marise of Lexington and Patsy Shepherd Gaines of Frankfort; three stepsons, Tommy (Cathy) Shepherd of TX, Mike (Fran) Mellon and Thomas Mellon, both of Frankfort; and numerous grandchildren. Funeral Information There will be a gathering of friends and family 10AM - 12PM Friday, November 29, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road.
