Lanny W. Myers, 74, husband of Lillian, died Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born August 12, 1939 in Louisville, KY to the late Ralph and Mildred Myers. Lanny was a retired master electrician for over 40 years, past president of the United Auto Workers and served in the US Air Force. He was also a 53 year member of the Hiram Lodge #4, Scottish Rite, York Rite 32nd degree, and Shrine. Other survivors include: two sons, Michael (Hope) Myers of TN and Joseph Patrick Myers of Frankfort; two step daughters, Vickie (Michael) Marise of Lexington and Patsy Shepherd Gaines of Frankfort; three stepsons, Tommy (Cathy) Shepherd of TX, Mike (Fran) Mellon and Thomas Mellon, both of Frankfort; and numerous grandchildren.
Funeral Information
There will be a gathering of friends and family 10AM - 12PM Friday, November 29, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road.
