Lawrence "Larry" Ward Debell

Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Lawrence Larry Ward DeBell, 81, husband of Elizabeth Mullins DeBell, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington after an 18 year courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Robert E. and Grace Decker DeBell on May 15, 1936. Mr. DeBell was a Carpenter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kelly Lynn DeBell Redd and Kathleen Ann DeBell, both of MI; his sister, Marsha Glass, Versailles; his brother, Maurice DeBell, MI; and his 4 grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time working on his house, gardening, being on the water, was a fabulous decorator and a wonderful cook. He was a sweet, honest, kind, unselfish person and will be missed by many. Funeral Information Memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Versailles United Methodist Church on the corner of Versailles Rd and Paynes Mill Rd with Pastor Tim Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
