Leslie W. Ramey

Lawrenceburg, Ky Leslie W. Ramey, 77, husband of Mary L. Ramey, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015. Born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on December 31, 1937 to the late L.C. Ramey and Nell Sullivan Ramey. Leslie served 9 years in the Army National Guard and was a member of the West Frankfort Church of God. He was retired from Kroger where he worked as a meat cutter for many years. In addition to his wife of 58 years, Leslie is survived by his daughter Stacey Snellen, Lawrenceburg; his sons Randall Ramey, Lawrenceburg; Leslie Ramey, Jr., Versailles; his sister Ramona Ramey, Frankfort; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Sheets. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held 3:00pm Thursday June 18, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort. Brother Wade Hughes will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00pm until start of the service at the funeral home.
