Linda Lee Russell Francis

Linda Lee Russell Francis, age 87, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky, November 25, 1938, to Richard and Melba Russell.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Gene Francis, and her sister Joyce Howard, and is survived by her brother Mike Russell (Cathy), her children Vicki Flanery (David), Tim Francis (Cheryl Irwin), and Wendy Foley (Greg), her grandsons Taylor Foley (Kendall), Luke Francis, Eli Francis and Sam Foley, her brand-new great grandson, Russell Fisher Foley, and her nieces, Dawn Drummond (Jeff) and Amy Castle (Tom).

Linda loved her family and took great joy in holiday gatherings and birthday celebrations. She loved the outdoors, boating, music and her pets. She was especially proud of her four grandsons.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 10:00 am—12:00 pm at Clark Legacy Center, 601 East Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alley Cat Allies (www.alleycat.org).
