Linda Kay Seyer

Linda Kay Seyer, age 79, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. She was born to the late Jack Ellis Seyer and Doris Beck Seyer on September 30, 1946 in Andrews, Texas. She was a widow of Eugene Dazel Burrow and a member for many years of the Church of Christ.

Linda was born and raised in Texas. She was a West Texas girl who moved to Lexington in 2017. She had many different careers over her lifetime. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. Her hobbies included gardening, painting and refurbishing furniture. She especially enjoyed her roses.

Most of all, she loved her family.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Catherine Lesly and Debbie Gentles, a sister Jackie Smith, and a son-in-law David Lesly.

Her grandchildren and their spouses include: Tabitha Maus, Eddie Maus, Jonathan Paul Lesly, Rebecca Lesly, Andrew Bennet, Eli Lesly, Mark Lesly, Lexi Wood, Hunter Lesly, Katie Lesly, Lady Lesly, Cindy Warren, Benjamin Warren, Ryon Gentles; and Ashley Gentles.

She also has eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in passing by one daughter, Cindy Metcalf.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial wake which will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at 414 Skylark Dr., Winchester, KY 40391.
