Nov 26, 1951 — Jul 10, 2026
Margie Kendrick Zoekler
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Margie Kendrick Zoeckler, who peacefully met Jesus on July 10, 2026 at the age of 74.
Born on November 26, 1951 in Lexington, KY, Margie lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to Christ, her family and her friends. She was known for her kindness, her smile, her love of hymns and Hallmark movies, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether through a kind word, serving at Church, or at the baseball field or theater supporting her grandchildren, she touched the lives of countless people.
Margie found great joy in spending time with her family, celebrating holidays, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, spoiling her
grandchildren, and serving at Southland Christian Church through several ministries.
She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, Scott Zoeckler; her only child who she adored, Kendra White along with her favorite son-in-law, Eric, and her grandchildren, John Hunter White (19) and Lynley White (14). Her siblings, Melvin Kendrick, William Kendrick, Steve Kendrick, Kenny Kendrick, and Anna Baker; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her beyond measure.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Alma Kendrick, her in-laws Dick and Jean Zoeckler, her brothers, David Kendrick and Harry Kindrick, her sisters Wanda Joseph and Shirley Bryant.
A celebration of Margie’s life will be held on Monday, July 20th at 1:00 PM with a visitation from 11:00am- 1:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Nicholasville, KY. Pallbearers will be Eric White, John Hunter White, Seth Kendrick, Jared Kendrick, Bobby Kendrick and Brian Kendrick. With her four living brothers serving as Honorary Pallbearers. lFamily and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering the beautiful life Margie lived.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and with Jesus. Her legacy of love, faith, strength, and compassion will live on in all who knew and loved her.
