Mark Steven Kinnaird

Mark Steven Kinnaird, 59, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Mark was born November 21, 1959 to the late James Howard and Juanita Powell Kinnaird. In addition to earning a Masters Degree, Mark was a published author and long time employee of the Paul Sawyier Library where worked in the Adult Services division and founded The Gathering of Authors, at the library. Mark was also an avid supporter of the Disabled American Veterans and dedicated Chicago Cubs fan. He is survived by his children, Emily Kinnaird of Connecticut and Bryant Kinnaird of Lexington; his former wife, Vicki Kinnaird; and special friends, Lorrie Gilpin and Mitchell Barrett. In addition to his parents, James and Juanita Kinnaird, Mark was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Addison Kinnaird. Services will be planned at a later date.
