Lexington - Mark Romanelli, 62, husband of Julia Spurlock Romanelli, died Saturday June 21 2014 in Lexington. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Joseph A. and Catherine Probst Romanelli. He was a graduate of Kent State University, a retired radio announcer, he loved contemporary jazz music, New York Yankees baseball and UK Basketball. Surviving besides his wife are his sister, Janet (Paul) Renaud, Greenfield, NH, a his brother, Joel (Karen) Romanelli, Vancouver WA, his niece, Rachel Romanelli, Cincinnati OH, his nephew, Jay Romanelli, Vancouver WA; her two sisters-in-law, Annette Grigsby of Lexington; her children Jan Grigsby, Jr., of Mobile, AL, Rebecca Richardson and Julie Grigsby both of Lexington; and Sharon Millard and her daughter, Angelia Thompson both of Columbus, OH. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, June 25th, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association or the American Heart Association. www.clarklegacycenter.com
