Obituary Michael R. Beason, 65, of Nicholasville, Kentucky and the husband of Doris Kuns Beason, died Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was born October 12, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Rector and Athene Cocas Beason. Michel was a lover of family, friendship, the "18th hole", Kentucky basketball, cribbage, stimulating conversation, consistency, and the beach sunrise. Celebrating Michel's life, in addition to his wife Doris, are his son, Darrell (Amanda) Spurlock of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Jen (Kevin) Welsh of St. John, Florida; grandchildren, Devon, Jackson, Christine and Kaleb; sisters, Rosie McDowell, Kim Dozier of Denver, Colorado and Jean Foster of Las Vegas, Nevada; and beloved nieces and nephews all join in being blessed to have shared Michel's time on this journey. Funeral Information In honor of Michel's life and legacy, a memorial beach side service is being planned by the family for a later date.
