Michael B. Newcome

Obituary Michael B. Newcome, 59, of Wilmore and widower of Martha Newcome, died Monday, December 6, 2010. He was born January 31, 1951, in McMinnville, TN. He retired from the U.S. Army where he served during the Vietnam War. During his military career he received numerous medals and awards recognizing his achievements. Michael is survived by children, Sara Newcome, Cincinnati, OH, and Regan Short, Gainesville, FL; step-brother, Gary Adkins, Wilmore; and two grandchildren. Funeral Information Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Clark Legacy Center. Burial will take place 12:30 pm, Friday, December 10, 2010, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors.
