Mrs. Edna M. Whisman

Online Obituaries for Frankfort, KY FRANKFORT- Edna M. Whisman, 88, widow of Glyn Whisman, died Saturday, February 6, 2016. She was born in Shelby County to the late Walter L. Hammond and Lula Mae Mallory Lee on January 18, 1928. Mrs. Whisman was a retired employee for Texas Instruments. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Rodney) Whisman, Bonnie (Doug) Gaines, Brenda Toles-Taulbee (Gary), and Janice (Stevie) Johnson, all of Frankfort; her sister, Edith Lee, Frankfort; 21 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren, 1 great great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be 1pm Monday at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. David Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be her granddaughters. Honorary casketbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm until the time of service.
