The widow of Porter Joseph West, Ora was born in Casey County, Kentucky on June 12, 1922 to the late Wilford and Vertie Brockman Wilson. Ora loved to visit with friends, but also enjoyed the solitude of working in her garden, canning, walking in the woods, all things nature. She is survived by her daughters, Genevieve Ford and Judie Maupin; sons, Robert (Barbara) West, Jerry (Jackie) West, and Andy West; 2 sisters; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren, and 3 great great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Joe, Ora was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue (Roy) Baker, 2 sisters, and 5 brothers. Funeral Information A Funeral Service will be held 12:30p on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a burial 11a Monday, March 27, 2017 in Lexington Cemetery. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Friday from 11a until the time of service.
