She was born on September 27, 1946 to the late William Edmond and Georgia Williams Stoops in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Mrs. Day worked at RJ Industries and was a member of Capital City Christian Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Karen Ivers, Frankfort; her son, Kevin Ivers, Frankfort; her sisters, Mattie Vest, Shelbyville and Linda Keith, Eminence; her granddaughter, Carrie Smith and great grandchildren, Adrian and Mila Smith. Funeral Information Graveside Service will be 12:30pm Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ray Eastman officiating.
