Peggy Ernest, 87, widow of James W. “Jim” Ernest, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Home Place in Midway. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Webster and Angeline Waugh Webster Reynolds. She was a retired Medical Office Manager for Lexington Surgeons and a member of Southland Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Ann {Tommy} Thompson, Frankfort; Barbara Jo “Babs” Ernest, Lexington; three grandchildren, Lauren {Andy} Hightower, Lexington; Ross {Mesha} Thompson,Frankfort; Drew {Jamie} Thompson, Frankfort; and eight great grandchildren, Carter, Mary Walker, Dani, James, Ella Grace, Lachlan, Lucy Belle and August and her sister-in-law, Jo Ann Stone, Lexington. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mike Ernest, her sister, Ruth Ann Kincer and three brothers, Hugh, Joe and Jack Webster. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing, followed by her funeral service at 1pm conducted by Pastor Ronnie McKinney with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tommy Thompson, Andy Hightower, Ross Thompson, Drew Thompson, Mike Nash and Steve Kincer.
