Phyllis A. Cappiccie

Phyllis A. Cappiccie, 79, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Baptist Health in Lexington. Phyllis was born November 17, 1938 to the late Clifton William Abel and Elsie Wallin Abel in Cincinnati, OH. Phyllis earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education and was a teacher until her children were born. Phyllis retired from the Fayette County School system where she worked in the school cafeteria for many years. Aside from her father, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Hacker. Phyllis is survived by her husband Guy B. Cappiccie; mother Elsie Abel; daughter's Cathy Ann (Jerry Baker) Cappiccie and Amy Carol (Kevin Norris) Cappiccie; brother William "Bill" Abel, Jr. and step granddaughter Juliana Grace Norris.
