Phyllis Gail Johnson

Phyllis Gail Johnson transitioned into the Lord's arms peacefully at home on July 28, 2026. She was born June 6, 1947, in Harlan, Kentucky to late Phillip & Jeanette Fluker. She accepted Christ at a young age and loved the Lord throughout her entire life.

Phyllis was a homemaker and raised all six of her children and had a helping hand in raising other children. She was an avid jogger in her early years; she enjoyed yard work, especially planting flowers to make beautiful flower beds.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “T.P." Johnson, her siblings, Barbara, Eunice, Tracy, Winfred, Douglas (Tank), Willie Ernest (Bunzy) and Samuel. She is survived her children, Reginald Christian, Toya Wright (Patrick), James (Chad) Christian, Marcus Christian, Delisha Jackson (Eric), and Omar Christian (Theresa) all of Lexington, Ky., 14 grandkids, 16 great grandkids, a brother Billy Ray Fluker (Alberta) of Wetumpka, Alabama, an Aunt Edrena Lowe of Dayton, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing.
