Richard P. Greene

Georgetown, KY Richard Dick P. Greene, 70, died September 7, 2017. He is survived by his wife Darlene (Barrett) Greene; daughters Dawn Barton and Denise (Tom) Cain; son Richard Todd Greene; sisters Cathi (Barry) Spofford and Melissa Bither; brothers Peter Greene, Tim (Cathy) Greene, Kim Greene, Johnny Torrey and Mark (Christine) Torrey; grandchildren Christopher, Brooke, Kimi, Derek, Brittany, Jackson, Matthew, Annabelle, Isabelle, Bradley, Brian, Sammy and Savannah and 6 great grandchildren. Dick was an avid tennis fan and coached the Scott County Girls Team as recently as last year. He also loved following any Scott County High School sports and Georgetown College sports. He was a homebody who most loved spending time with his grandchildren. Dick was a frugal man who was known to say, If you take care of the pennies, nickels and dimes, the dollars will take care of themselves. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 1-3PM, Sun., Sept. 10, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
