Richard Wright

Richard Wright, 96, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Nick and Delilah Wright. Richard was married for 56 years to Joyce Wright who was called home before him in 2017. He is a U.S. Army and Korean  War veteran and a retiree of Columbia Gas of Kentucky. Richard is survived by his two sons Todd (Laura) and Roger (Catherine), as well as his grandchildren Christian, Caroline, Paul (Ashley), Douglas, and Emory. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., at the Southland Christian Church Chapel, Harrodsburg Road, with Pastor Tony Brown and Brewster McLeod officiating.
