Rita Ann Hampton

Rita Ann Ramey Hampton, 63, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019. She was born July 18, 1955 in Grundy, Virginia to the late James B. and Brooksie McKinney Ramey. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Ron) Johnson and Carrie (David) Gaston; son, E.J. Hampton; grandchildren, Jayson Hampton, Corey Hampton, Nathan Hampton, Olivia Hampton, Logan Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Silas Gaston and Cheyenne Gaston; sisters, Nancy Turner, Jeannie Vice, Barbara Barker and Emma Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Hampton; her parents and one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be 11a-1p, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing followed by Funeral service at 1p. Burial will be at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Pastor Sammy Harris will officiate the service.
