Obituary Robert Luke Russell Sr., 67, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009. A native of Nicholasville, KY, he was born on May 30, 1942 to the late Luke and Virginia Miller Russell. He is survived by his children, Roberta Wilkinson, Sylvia Hightower, Alvina Russell, Donna Russell Mitchell, Dicy Russell, Edward Leavell, James Wilkerson, Robert Russell Jr. and James "Tiny" Russell; six sisters, Ruby Elizabeth Thomas, Viola Weathers, Joyce Maupins, Martha Rockwell, Carolyn Hunt and Gwendalyn White; one brother, Walter Lee Russell; twenty-two grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and his special friends Ethel, Tasha, J.B., Larry and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Kennedy and his brother Arthur Calvin Russell. Funeral Information The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2009, at Marble Creek Baptist Church. The Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2009.
