He was born in Pecos, Texas, son of the late Walton and Florence McCormick Aubrey. He was a retired electrician with IBEW, served in the Marine Corps, loved fishing, boating, hiking, gardening, spending time with family, building things in his workshop and he enjoyed a good fire no matter the season of the year. Surviving besides his wife, is his daughter, Heather Aubrey {Sean} Meadows, Marietta, Georgia, his two sons, Alan {Faye} Aubrey, Nicholasville, Benjamin {Trinity} Aubrey, Mercer County, his sister, Evelyn {Walter} Case, Austin, Texas, his two brothers, Stephen Aubrey, Lexington, Jeffrey {Mavis} Aubrey, Alabama, and his three grandchildren, Connor Aubrey, Logan Aubrey and Daphne Rose Adams. Funeral Information His visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Southland Christian Church Building A, from 4-6:30 pm followed by his Celebration of Life service at 6:30 conducted by Rev. Will Briggs.
