Rosemary Allen Ewen, 77, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at her residence in Versailles. She was born in Martin, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clyde Preston and Tina Jewel Conner Allen. She had a Masters Degree in Human Environmental Science and was a retired Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky. She was an Episcopalian, loved gardening, writing, her dogs and she kept her yard immaculate. Surviving are three daughters, Katherine Ewen {Ben} Harper, Mary Kidd, and Cindi {Colonel William} Clark, all of Lexington; six grandchildren, Trevor Kidd, Ashley Kidd, Matthew Mullins, Griffin Mullins, James Clark and David Clark, and three great grandchildren, James Thomas, B.J. Nichols and Ava Kidd.

Her wishes were a private service at a later date.
