Sammy Patrick “Pat” Blair, 64, of Lexington and husband of Karla Renée Carter Blair passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. A Lexington native, he was born to the late Sammy T. Blair and Connie Mills Blair on February 17, 1962. Pat was a Christian whose faith guided him throughout his life.
Pat attended Tates Creek High School and went on to have a successful career as a contractor. He owned and operated Finishing Touch General Contracting in Lexington. After relocating to southwest Florida, he served as Superintendent for J.L. Wallace, Inc. He was especially proud of his first project in that role; Estero Community Park located in Lee County.
Pat enjoyed spending time at the beach and was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan. Most of all, he loved Karla and his family.
In addition to his loving wife of 25 years, he is survived by two children, Christopher James Blair and Lindsey Blair; two brothers, Anthony (LeeAnn) Blair and Stoney Blair; two sisters, Kathy (Kevin) Werner and Kelly (Mike) Phillips; and six grandchildren: Adrianna, Avery, Gabriella, R.J., Kyrie, and Kysen. He is also survived by his dear nieces, nephews, and extended family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by a sister, Summer Blair and a sister-in-law, Rochelle “Rusty” Blair.
His services will be held this Wednesday, June 17th at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing. The visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
His pallbearers will be Tony Blair, Mike Phillips, Austin Boyd, Kody Boyd, Madison Tanksley, Shawn Blair, and Stoney “Skeeter” Blair. His honorary pallbearers will be Donald Day, Donald Day II, Tony Day, Kevin Werner, and Attrue Sparks.
