Samuel was born in Nelson County, Kentucky, on May 29, 1937, to Homer and Mary Ray Apollos. He was a retired engineer for State of Kentucky Transportation and a member of Troy Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, Samuel is survived by his son Lex (Bobbi) Apollos, Lexington; his step son Finley (Becky) Lyons, Georgetown; his step daughter, Mary Lyons, Lawrenceburg; his sister, Mary Neal Apollos, Bardstown; his grandchildren, Lilly Apollos, Alie Apollos, Elizabeth Baity, Samantha Lyons, and Sarah Lyons. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Apollos. Funeral Information Visitation will be Thurs. 4:30-6pm at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Funeral Service will follow at 6pm with Reverend David Dugan officiating. Private burial services will be held. Casketbearers will be Joe Rogers, Paul Blackter, Mark Moore, Jay Buffin, Andy Wilson, David Jeffers, and Larry Snyder. Honorary casketbearers will be Fred Faust, Keller Campbell , Jimmy Mitchell, and Clint Newman.
