Shirley Barron

Shirley Barron, 82, passed away, Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Shirley, the wife of Eugene “Buck” Barron, was born January 2, 1937, to the late John and Katherine Parker Kaenzig, in Versailles. Shirley was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. She loved to read, work puzzles and was a very special woman to everyone she knew. In addition to her husband, Buck, Shirley is survived by her children, Kathleen Smith, Lexington, Pamela Gabbard, Nicholasville, Ray (Charlotte) Barron, Nicholasville, and Mike (Tammy) Barron, Nicholasville; sisters, Bonnie Sharp, Versailles, and Marylyn Hon, Lexington; a brother, Phillip (Jen) Kaenzig, Lexington; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be, 1:00pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Ave, officiated by Pastor Michael Cable. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonny Kaenzig, Ray Barron, Mike Barron, Danny Lowery, Steve Plunkett and Travis Lowery. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm, Friday prior to service.
