Simone Newton

Lancaster, KY Garrard County Simone Newton, 72, passed into the arms of the angels May 10, 2017. She was born September 19, 1944 in Lebanon, Ohio to late Walter Charles and Emma (Caudill) Lemay. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Arnett L. Newton of Lancaster; daughter Becky Babington, of Dayton, OH; granddaughter Sarah Shay of Newport, KY; sisters Sharon Moore of Portsmouth, VA and Patricia Perrin of Nicholasville; brothers-in-law Lowell (Pearl) Newton and Glen (Mary) Newton and sister-in-law Sonia. She was a special aunt to 7 nieces and nephews, 15 grandnieces and nephews and 6 great grandnieces and nephews. She loved her books, especially her cookbooks and decorating her home, where everyone was welcome to stop by. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and all the stray animals she fed and who held a special place in her heart. We wish to thank her special caregivers Maggie Henson and her sisters Sharon and Patricia. Funeral Information A celebration of her life will be held at 7PM, Monday, May 15, 2017 at Lancaster Church of the Nazarene, 137 Victory Lane, Lancaster, KY 40444.
