Online Obituaries for Frankfort, Ky Frankfort-Stella U. Grimes, 87, wife of Paul E. Grimes, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2014. A native of Frankfort, she was born on September 25, 1926 to the late John Updike and late Elizabeth Holland Massie. Mrs. Grimes worked for the Legislative Research Commission for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Judi Grimes of Nashville,Tennessee and Daniel E. Grimes of Frankfort; sister, Mary Edna Gaines of Frankfort; grandson, Scott ( Ashley) Ashburn of Frankfort. Funeral Information Visitation will be Friday September 26, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene. Additional visitation at the church at 12-1PM with funeral service to follow. Pastor Derrick Catron officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Ashburn, Doug Lafoe, Josh Lafoe, Marvin Barlow, Jeff Boler, and Terry Shockley.
