Susan Albee George, 90, widow of the late James Bailey George, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026. She was born in Roscoe, New York on May 6, 1936 to the late Alberta Todd and Ronald Albee. Mrs. George worked in education as a high school teacher.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Heather ( Derek) VanDemark; and grandchildren, Derek VanDemark and Reeve VanDemark.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Albee Bancroft.
At this time, no services are planned. Mrs. George will be laid to rest in New York.
