Suzanne W. "Suzy" Bradley
March 11, 1944 — April 15, 2026
Suzanne W. Bradley, 82, of Lexington, Kentucky, widow of Jerry Bradley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Born on March 11, 1944, in Ashland, Kentucky, Suzy was the beloved daughter of the late E. Paul Williams and Elizabeth DeHart Williams. She was a proud graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland, Class of 1962. She attended Gulfport College in Gulfport, Mississippi, and later completed her degree in library science from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, Suzy moved to Washington, D.C., to work in her field before returning to Kentucky, where she began a career in banking.
Suzy lived a life rooted in love, family, and simple joys. She found great happiness in gardening, trips to the beach, and spending time at the lake. More than anything, she cherished being present for her family—faithfully attending dance recitals, sporting events, and celebrations for those she loved. Her unwavering support and quiet encouragement meant the world to her daughter, grandchildren, and many friends. Suzy also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who brought her constant companionship and joy.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Sarah (Chad) Back; her cherished grandchildren, Emma and Ryan Back; her stepdaughter, Molly (Keith) Feltner, and their children, Haley, Ali, and Jake; and a dear cousin, Laura Holt. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Suzy’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center–Brannon Crossing. A private burial will follow on Wednesday, April 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jerry.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Suzy’s memory to the Lexington Humane Society or the Kentucky Humane Society. Please find links to either organization below.
