Ted Ridgley Brown
Aug 30, 1946 — Oct 25, 2026
Ted R. Brown, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, the beloved husband of Cindy Brown, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was born on August 30, 1946, in Longview, Texas, to the late Lavelle Sparks Brown and Dr. William Brown. Ted proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. A hardworking and entrepreneurial man, he owned and operated Ted R Brown insurance agency , as well as Kentucky Hot Brown, an online embroidery and screen-printing sportswear business. Above all, Ted loved the Lord. He was a faithful member of Church of the Savior in Nicholasville, Kentucky, where his faith shone brightly. He was a devoted student of the Word of God who treasured the truth of Scripture, and a true prayer warrior who faithfully brought every need before the Lord. Ted found great joy in serving in various ministries at his church, and his life was a living testimony of God's love and grace.
Ted's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of more than 55 years, Cindy; his daughters, Brook Bosch and Lee Aren Brown; his brother, W. Lamont Brown; and his grandchildren, Elise Bosch, Katelyn Bosch, Jacob (Cherish) McCracken, and Joshua Carroll. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ted's life on Friday, October 30, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Savior in Nicholasville, KY, followed by a memorial service from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., officiated by Steve Pearson. A procession will then go to Camp Nelson National Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. Afterward, the family warmly welcomes everyone to join them at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship and sharing memories.
