Timothy Dewayne Price, age 47, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his residence. Timothy was born on June 21, 1969 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to Mary Magdalene Loy Pittman and the late Cecil Dewey Price. He was a SCC graduate, Eastern Kentucky graduate, and Northern KY graduate where he obtained his Law Degree. He was born and raised in Michigan, attending Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was formerly the Assistant County Attorney in Russell County, Kentucky. Timothy was an attorney for KEMI in Lexington and worked for the Public Defender's Office in Somerset before starting his own private practice in Somerset 12 months ago. He was a member of the KY Bar Association and a Mason. Timothy enjoyed his sports, especially the Detroit Lions. He also enjoyed reading and watching movies.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Magdalene Pittman of Lexington, KY; two brothers, Paul Daniel (and Lori) Price of Richmond, KY and Cecil Lee (and Ann) Price of Creswell, OR; one sister, Debra (and Steve) Gillam of Lexington, KY; two nieces, Jessica Price and Elizabeth Back; two nephews, Brandon Price and James (and Stacy) Price; one great niece, Stephanie Price; and his best friend, his black Lab, Remy.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, James Pittman; and a niece, Amanda Gillam.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00-8:00p, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
