William Lambert Drane

LEXINGTON- William Lambert Drane, 66, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late LeRoy M. and Mildred Riney Drane on August 13, 1952. Bill was a very active member of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was proud to have been on the First State Championship Football Team for Trinity High School in 1968. Bill worked in marketing for Olan Mills for over 20 years, and in the insurance industry for several years. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Lexington Branch Civil War Round Table. He is survived by his son, Will Drane, Lexington; and his brother, Ed Drane, Louisville. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary.
