William Michael Parker

December 2, 1974 — June 11, 2026

The gentle soul of William Michael Parker, 51, departed this life on June 11, 2026 at his home with family by his side.

He was born on December 2, 1974 in Bristol, TN to the late Vera Parker-Kidwell. He was a 1993 graduate of Dunbar High School and enjoyed many years as an equipment operator.

Throughout his life he was an avid lover of fish and an aquarium keeper. He spent his spare time cooking, traveling, and watching UK basketball.

All who knew him will remember him for being a devoted husband, loyal friend and a proud fur daddy to his cat Bubba. His optimism about life and his gratitude for each day never wavered no matter what life threw his way. He was an inspiration to all who met him.

He always cherished the time he spent in Tennessee with his late granny Iva Nell Cassell.

He was preceded in death by his dear mother Vera Jane Parker-Kidwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years Claudia, his Aunt Zoe (Finley) Witcher, his two uncles Ben and Morris Cassell as well as many cousins, including Julie Cassell.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday July 11, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, 601 E Brannon Road, Nicholasville KY 40356.

A private memorial and scattering of ashes will be performed later.
