Lora Joy Mounts

Lora Joy Mounts, 73, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 26, 1952 to the late Byron Woods and Goldie Elmore. She worked for Ruggles as a sign maker. Lora loved any type of crafting, shopping, cooking, gardening, and flowers. She had a passion for caring for others and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Jason Elmore (Monica); her sister, Linny Estes; her brother, Mike; and her grandchildren, Morgan Joy, Jillian Marie, and Molly Jo.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David, Brad, and Burrell.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford Habitat for Humanity.
