Robert Douglas Craig

Robert Douglas “Doug” Craig, 75, husband of Lee Craig, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. A native of Midway, he was born on May 13, 1950 to the late Kenneth Ray and Betty Mae Craig. Doug was a correctional officer with the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, and he was an active member for over 20 years of Emulation Lodge 688 at Sharpsville, Kentucky. Doug was a farmer, loved knife swapping, marbles, cattle shows, and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Wendy Chesser (Jamie) and Amanda Pullin (Marty); his sons, Daniel Craig (Katrina), Brandon Pettyjohn (Taylor), and Clifton Pettyjohn; his sisters, Janice “Sue” Dever and Missy Craig; his brother, Ray Craig (Harriett); his grandchildren, Kelly Blair, Leslie Craig, Todd Craig, Mattilynn Craig, Eli Chesser, Bo Chesser, Lottie Chesser, Jacob Pullin, and Judge Pullin; his great grandchildren, Hailey Portwood, Colt Smith, and Wyatt Craig; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Craig.

Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Clear Creek Baptist Church with Dave Menser officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until the time of service on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Clear Creek Baptist Church. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill is in charge of arrangements.
