Ruth Ann Lalley

Ruth Ann Lalley, 77, of Georgetown Kentucky, was called home to the Lord on April 24, 2026. She peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth Ann Lalley was born on August 14, 1948, in Lee County, Kentucky to the late Roscoe Slone and Kathleen (Brandenburg) Slone. Ruth was a devoted Christian.
Ruth attended Beattyville Grade School. In her early working years, she was a caretaker in Lexington Kentucky, as well as a waitress. Later, Ruth was a hard worker and dedicated employee at Johnson Controls, R & J Manufacturing and Hoover.
Ruth Ann was a proud mother, grandmother (AKA Nanny) and great-grandmother. She was known as a protector, a provider and a constant source of comfort and guidance. She will be remembered not only for her resilience and work ethic but for her beauty – especially her striking blue eyes.
Ruth Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Joseph Lalley, her parents, Roscoe Slone and Kathleen (Brandenburg) Slone and her siblings, Betty Rhodus, Roscoe Slone Jr., James Slone, Janice Phillips, Jack Slone and Joe Slone.
Ruth Ann is survived by her children, Raymond Joseph (Jennifer) Lalley II, Jacqueline Kathleen (Henry Cannon III) Williams, Charles Roscoe (Ashley) Lalley and Bessie Kimberly (Timothy) Lalley-Davis.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Roger (Melody) Slone, Brenda (Steve) Gross, Bessie Wade, Benjamin Slone and Lucy Slone.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Justina (William) Rigney, Victoria (Eli) Marsh, Autumn (Brian) Quesenberry, Julia (Eric Smith) Williams, Katelyn Florence, Summer Lalley and Ethan Lalley. As well as her great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Lincoln, Charleigh, Areyah, Noella and Jackson.
Ruth Ann’s life was a testament to love, sacrifice and strength. Though she is no longer with us, we find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into eternal peace, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her services will be held on Thursday, April 30th at Clark Funeral Home in Versailles. The visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery.
