Richard John Faust
Jan 14, 1956 — Sep 3, 2026
A life remembered with love, gratitude, and lasting respect.
January 14,1956 – September 3,2026
Richard Faust, beloved father, family member, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. His life was marked by quiet strength, devotion to family, and the steady presence he offered to the people around him.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Florence Faust, he was born and raised on Long Island, New York, in a large family with many brothers and sisters. He was a jack of all trades having worked in various industries from Firefighter to truck driver, but by far his favorite thing was cooking and feeding people.
Richard will be remembered for his kindness, his character, and the many ways he showed love for his family. Whether offering guidance, sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply being there when it mattered most, he left a lasting impression on the hearts of everyone he encountered.
As a father, Richard gave the gift of love, support, and example. His memory will live on in the lessons he taught, the traditions he helped create, and the moments—both large and small—that will be cherished for years to come.
He is survived by his partner in life Irene Faust (nee Sanders) their sons Thomas and Michael. His former wife Francine Quartiero and their daughter Farah Horigan, his grandchildren Kiona, Noel, Calli and Bram. As well as his brother-in-law Donald Sanders and sister-in-law Starr Sevenliss. He will be deeply missed by his dog daughter Lola.
Though Richard will be deeply missed, his love and legacy remain. May his memory bring comfort, strength, and peace to everyone who holds him dear.
