Jessica McLaughlin

With deep sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jessica McLaughlin of Wilsonville, Oregon. She left us far too soon on April 27, 2026.

Jessica was born on April 25, 1988, in Overland Park, Kansas. She also lived in Minnesota before moving to Portland, Oregon where she attended Wilson High School, graduating in 2006.

Jessica’s love of animals led her to the Oregon Humane Society and Pet Partners of Portland. She and her cat, Sylvester, earned their certification with the Animal Assisted Therapy Program. They would visit care centers where her grandpa lived the final years of his life. Her love of children led her to working as a nanny for many years. She was unable to continue after being diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. It was then she became a full-time mom which brought her the greatest joy.

Jessica is survived by her two children, Adrian (15) and Charlotte (2); her parents, Bill and Cheryl McLaughlin; her sister, Joslyn and her many family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Jessica’s life on July 18th at 10:00 am at Tualatin Heritage Center, Tualatin, Oregon. All who knew her are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Oregon Humane Society or Wilsonville Heart of the City, reflecting Jessica’s love of children and animals.
