Jose Carlos Ramirez

He worked a job at Nabisco for 37 years.

Jose's History: born and raised in Lima Peru in the district of Chorillos. Graduated high school in 1959. Worked for Pilsen Callado, which was a beer company, Monarch bicycle company, and IBM servicing electric typewriters. Married my mom on August 8th. 1970. They honeymooned in Custco and Machu Pichu. Had me and my brother in the early seventies. We moved to the States in December of 1976 to start a new life. We lived in Portland Oregon for the first 5 years and then moved to Tigard in December of 1981. My parents bought there house at the end of 1987 and lived there the rest of their lives.

My dad was a happy and upbeat person with a great sense of humor. On the flight to the US we hit a thunderstorm. My mom was terrified. My dad holds her hand and said, Don’t worry honey, if anything happens we are already closer to God.

He was a hard worker and willing to help anyone at anytime. He will be deeply missed
