Kathleen Yvonne Mahmoudi

Kathleen Yvonne Mahmoudi, 80, died on August 14, 2026, in Tualatin, Oregon.

Born on July 19, 1946, Kathleen was the daughter of Loren Thomas Tinker and Yvonne Tinker of Baldwin Park, California. She attended Vineland Elementary School and Baldwin Park High School, and continued her education at Mt. San Antonio Community College.

Known to many as Kathy, she built a dedicated career in health care as a phlebotomist. She worked at Glendora Hospital and Monrovia Community Hospital in California, and later retired from Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin, Oregon. Her years of service reflected a steady commitment to caring for others.

Kathleen was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her son Erik and her granddaughters Brianna, Kimberly, and Jessica. She was deeply devoted to her family, pets, and friends, and made the most of her time with others, always striving to ensure they felt cared for and cherished. Her compassion, welcoming nature, and willingness to help people left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

She also found great enjoyment in the things that brought people together and made life beautiful. Kathleen was an avid league bowler, a dedicated grandmother, and enjoyed growing orchids at home. Holidays and special occasions were especially meaningful to her, and she made them regal occasions, inviting everyone to celebrate with her.

A private celebration of life will be held in the near future.

Kathleen Yvonne Mahmoudi will be remembered with love and missed by all whose lives she touched.
