Wendy Ann Johnson

August 6, 1958- April 1, 2026

Kent, WA resident Wendy Ann Johnson passed away peacefully at Valley Medical Center on

the evening of April 1st, at the age of 67.

Wendy’s professional life reflected her adaptability and drive, spanning multiple careers

from retail to computer programming at Boeing. While she found success in each role, she

took the greatest pride in her work as a science teacher. After beginning homeschooling her

daughter, Wendy discovered a deep passion for education that grew into a 20-year journey.

Through her patience, creativity, and enthusiasm, she inspired a lasting love of learning.

Wendy was also a cancer survivor for eight years, a testament to her strength and

resilience. Though she faced lasting effects from her treatment, she continued to live with

determination and grace.

Wendy was preceded in death by her husband, Scott. She is survived by her daughter

Stephanie (David Schmieder), grandson, and her siblings, Judy Green and Scott Green

(Barbara Shea).

Wendy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the

love she shared so freely with family and friends.
