Betty Louise Keenan, 86, of Sumner, WA went to her heavenly home on October 13, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1938 in Chehalis, WA
to Charles and Rose Holmes.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Major Dale A. Keenan and her granddaughter Michele. Betty is survived by her daughter Cheryl Hernandez (Ray) of Bonney Lake, son Charles of Sumner, son Don (Denise) of Edgewood and son Brian of Traverse City, MI. Grandchildren Christine, Josh, Jonny, Cameron, Kara and Erin. Great grandchildren Cedar, MapleRay and Willow.
Betty was such a special person. She was extremely creative and artistic and was always giving gifts of her handmade items, especially crochet. She was a fantastic cook, God fearing and fun loving. She loved to tell her silly jokes and we adored her. There was always plenty of laughter! Beyond anything else though, she loved her family fiercely with a sacrificial love. Betty would put her family's needs above her own and would do anything for them. She was profoundly generous and
has left a powerful legacy of love.
Memorial Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery Monday October 27, 2025. Reception to follow at 1907 89th Ave. E. Edgewood, WA 98371. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betty's memory to the American Cancer Society.
