Carol Ann Wood
May 23, 1943 — May 24, 2026
Carol Ann (Miller) Wood, 83, passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2026, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She was born in Waldport, Oregon to Jack Miller Sr. & his wife Frankie. She was preceded in death by her husband Erven Wood.
Carol retired from Bartell Drugs after more than 25 years of dedicated service and friendships that have lasted a lifetime.
In her younger years, Carol was a talented barrel racer who loved the excitement and freedom of the rodeo life. She found joy in the simple and beautiful things — the towering trees and greenery of Washington State, long scenic rides, people watching, family gatherings, a Coca-Cola, and her favorite Starbucks drink.
More than anything, Carol treasured her siblings Jack, Dennis, Tom, Susan and Lori Miller. She was a loving mother to Todd, Bret, Ty, Klay and Brenda.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Brandi, Ashley, Ketcher, Myranda, Mason, Tawna, Mattea, Payden, Tiffany, Justin, Paige, Chase, and Dawson who brought endless happiness to her life. She had 22 great-grandchildren who were the light of her world. Along with numerous special nieces and nephews who stole her heart from the very beginning.
She shared countless memories and laughter with many close friends whom she deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with throughout the years.
Carol’s laughter, warm hugs, and unconditional love will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the stories shared, the memories treasured, and the love she gave so freely.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
