Rita Johnson Trout, 73, of North Port, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 28, 2008. Mrs. Trout was born on April 18, 1935 in Oakland, Maryland to William A. and Emma (Rice) Johnson. Mrs. Trout moved to North Port in 1997 from Sarasota. She was an Insurance Counselor with AAA Auto Club South in Sarasota for 10 years and retired in 2000. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Port. She is survived her husband, Willard of North Port; daughter, Cyndi Tristancho of North Port; son, Carson Trout of Pinellas Park, FL; sister, Eleanor Stemple and Phyllis Helbig both of Oakland, Maryland and Nancy Glotfelty of Sarasota; brother, Wayne Johnson Oakland, Maryland; 5 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Trout, 6 brothers and 1 sister. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church.
