Send Flowers B. Bruce Watson February 2, 1930 - August 13, 2010 B. Bruce Watson Cocoa, Florida B. Bruce Watson, loving husband and devoted father went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2010, at the age of 80. Bruce was born in Rutledge, TN. on February 2, 1930. Bruce and Ruby moved their family to Brevard County in 1953. He was the owner of Waston Paving Inc., Watson Truck and Auto Parts, Brevard Road Material and the former owner of WWG Asphalt Company. Bruce was an active member of the Orsino Baptist Church along with his family since 1964. He served in many capacities at his church. He was inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame in 1997, and selected as East Coast Contractor of the year in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Scott Watson; three daughters, Mary Long (preceeded in death-Jack) Evelyn Goodson (Tom), and Kitty Bouck-Shuman (Stan) ; sister, Dorothy Cogdell. He was proceeded in death by two brothers, Buck and Fred, and two sisters, Ethel Hodge and Irene Martin; 7 grandchildren, LeAnn Knapp (Chris), Billy Long (Michelle), Jeff Long (Angie), Travis Goodson (Erin), Lindsey Goodson, Darin Bouck, Kaylee Bouck; and 9 great grandchildren, Lauren, Mason, Chase, Julia, Jackson, Marissa, Holden, Mia, Taylor, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Cocoa, FL at 1:00P.M., Thursday, August 19, 2010. The family will receive friends at the Beckman Williamson Funeral Home in Viera, FL, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 4 till 8P.M.
