Anna Hall (Scetta) of Melbourne, FL passed away Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at Holmes Regional Medical Center while surrounded by her family. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island but lived most of her adult life in Florida. Though Anna encountered obstacles at a young age, she always showed courage and strength. She was a strong woman with grit and grace. Through life and even in the end, she was a fearless and faithful fighter. For the last 44 years, Anna loved her time at the markets, always bargaining for a deal and bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around her. She never met a stranger, and her kind heart and funny sense of humor drew people to her. We have laughed over the years about her cooking skills, funny superstitions and her special way with words, but at the core of it all was her love. Her family is blessed and comforted by the love she showed them, and she will be remembered and reminisced for years to come. Anna was the wife of the late Leon Hall and the daughter of the late Serafino and Tommasina (Calci) Scetta. She was the beloved mother of Joseph Mattera, with wife Barbara, and Lisa Hensley, with partner Michael Edson; loving grandmother of Michael Mattera, Christy Rankin and Billy Hensley; loving great-grandmother of Liana Mattera, Carlie Rankin and Kayla Mattera. She was the sister of Gloria Pendleton, Elena Starziano, George Scetta, Michael Scetta and the late Gina Fordham, Flora Hooper, Salvatore Scetta, Robert Scetta and Pasco Scetta Sr.
