Mary S. Reese
October 1st, 1938 - March 28th, 2023
Mrs. Mary S. Reese, 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, in Merritt Island, Florida. Mary was a pioneer and innovator for her family and those who knew her. As an artist at heart, she expressed her vision through interior designing and decorating. Her love for her family was fully realized when she arranged a family reunion for her father, eight (8) siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary’s love for tennis (as a player and spectator) also grew through the years. Born six of nine in Brooklyn, Mary married Robert S. Reese in 1961 and moved to Long Island, New York, where she lived an exemplary life. In July 1998, Mary & Robert retired to Florida. Brave and compassionate, she is survived by her sons Lance and Todd, her daughter Kirsten, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister Blanche, and brother David. Mary will not only be missed by her family and friends, but by the community she was involved with. The memorial will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., on Saturday May 20th, at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home in Viera, with services following at 3 p.m.
