DENVER, CO - Barbara K. Frederickson, age 90 of Arvada, CO, died peacefully in her sleep May 27th, 2023 in Denver. A Celebration of Life and Remembrance gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Woodcrest Clubhouse, 6445 Welch St., Arvada, CO 80004. A private family interment will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO on Thursday, June 29. Barb was born June 9, 1932 in Rugby, ND, the daughter of Hilbert and Prudence (Snyder) Bjerke. She grew up in Blue Earth, MN. She was a graduate of Blue Earth High School and Mankato Commercial College. She lived in the Denver area for most of her adult life. She was a long time employee of the Arvada library. She is survived by her sister: Marilyn Abram, St. Louis Park, MN, Nephew: Gregg and his wife Shelly Abram of Chanhassen, MN, Niece: Julie and her husband David North of St. Louis Park, MN and great niece Kimberly North. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffrey Gossard and husband Leo Frederickson.
